along with Bell and Howard Chevrolet want to see you make those pumpkins go. The launch will start at 8:30 that Saturday
morning with teams and devices arriving by 8:00 am. Below you will find the PDF links to the 2007 registration form and rules

The competition will likely occur at the Statesville Golf Center again this year but this has not been confirmed. I will let
you know as soon as this or another possible site is definite. The competition this year is in two categories, a Junior and
Senior Division. The target distance for the Junior Division is 75 yards and the Senior Division target is 150 yards. The
maximum base of the catapults will be the same this year, 12 ft x 6 ft, with each team making a total of 6 throws. Teams will
pick the division in which they expect to compete. Prize money is $500 for the Senior Division and $250 for the Junior
Division with each division champion receiving a trophy. There is also a $20 registration fee for each team that should be
included with your registration. Checks should be made out to the Crossroads Pumpkin Festival.
The registration deadline is October 26 and the device must be checked for safety by an event official before they can
participate in the event.
Time (and pumpkins) fly when you are having fun so get started on your medieval devices of pumpkin destruction and we hope to
see you at the Pumpkin Chunkin' Competition this year. Please contact me if you have any questions.
